ILOILO City – After years of hiding, the No. 4 most wanted person in Western Visayas was arrested on Thursday, October 31, in San Jose City, Nueva Ecija.

The 36-year-old Ronald Arguilles Fajardo, a resident of Barangay Ungka 1, Pavia, Iloilo, was caught around 10:30 p.m. at the house of his relative.

Personnel of the Pavia Municipal Police Station headed by Major Harold Rendora carried out the arrest through the strength of an arrest warrant for the crime of robbery with violence against or intimidation of persons, or Revised Penal Code Article 294, signed and issued by Judge Cyril Regalado of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) – Branch 29.

Judge Regalado recommended a bail bond of P100,000 for Fajardo’s temporary liberty.

“He did not resist when he saw the arrest warrant,” Rendora said.

The police chief said the robbery case happened years ago in Pavia town and after the incident, the suspect hid in Nueva Ecija.

As of this writing, the suspect was detained at the Pavia police station pending turnover to the court of origin./PN
