ILOILO City – Oscar Patingan was found dead in his house in Barangay San Juan, Molo district, a police report showed.
Investigators have yet to determine what caused the death of the 64-year-old as of this writing.
His neighbors discovered his body at around 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 29.
Police believed Patingan has been dead for more than eight hours before he was found.
The body did not have a wound or any sign that he had been attacked.
His relatives believed Patingan died of an illness, police said.
Investigators requested an autopsy on the body to determine the cause of death./PN
