BACOLOD City – He sustained multiple gunshot wounds on the body and died, a police report showed.
Police were still determining why Bais City, Negros Oriental resident Nikolai Tantengco was shot to death.
An unidentified suspect fired at Tantengco around 10 p.m. on Sunday when he was walking along Cervantes Street near the Negros Oriental State University in Dumaguete City.
Recovered from the crime scene were about 14 empty shells of an unknown firearm.
Dumaguete City police have yet to identify the suspect.
