BACOLOD City – Police were still identifying the motive in shooting a boy dead in Silay City, Negros Occidental.
The 17-year-old Christian Penson was walking with his other two siblings on the way to Lantawan National High School when the shooting happened around 6 a.m. yesterday, a police report showed.
Two unidentified suspects approached the siblings and asked them if they knew where the house of a certain “Igit” was, the report further showed.
The suspects also asked who among the locals lost goats, police said.
It was not immediately clear what happened next but police said one of the suspects shot Penson using a handgun.
Penson sustained gunshot wounds on the head and stomach.
According to Penson’s mother Agnes, her son did not have known enemies.
