SAN JOSE, Antique – The filing period for the certificates of candidacy (COCs) ended Wednesday.
Here are the aspiring candidates for provincial positions in Antique, based on records from the Commission on Elections provincial office.
Five people are aspiring to be Antique’s lone district representative – Loren Legarda, Robin Rubinos, Exequiel Javier, Antero Villaflor, and Rodelo Pidoy.
Reelectionist Gov. Rhodora Cadioa, meanwhile, will be up against Paolo Javier and Basabias Lopez.
Incumbent Vice Gov. Edgar Denosta – who also seeks reelection – will be opposed by three people – Rony Molina, Jonathan Tan and Sherwin Laude.
