BACOLOD City – Negros Occidental’s Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson and Vice Gov. Jeffrey Ferrer have not declared yet who to support in the May 2022 presidential elections.
They would consult the 31 mayors first.
But, Ferrer said he would support the candidate who could bring more “beneficial” programs to the province and would revive the Negros Island Region when he/she becomes president. Negros Occidental is the 5th vote rich province in the country with about 1.9 million registered voters based on the data released by the Commission on Elections in 2019./PN
