ILOILO City – Someone left a homemade firearm at the public plaza of Barangay Alojipan, Culasi, Antique.
Police suspected that whoever left it may have been trying to avoid getting caught violating the election gun ban.
Alojipan village chief Noel Filaro went to the Culasi police station at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday and turned over the loaded .357 revolver.
The Culasi police were still trying to identify the owner as of this writing./PN
