ILOILO City – Police were still trying to identify who shot the residents of Barangay Poblacion, Tapaz, Capiz and Barangay Bolo, Roxas City in separate incidents recently.
Ronald Beaniza of Tapaz was taken to the district hospital in the municipality, a police report showed.
From what the investigators have so far gathered, the suspect fired at Beaniza and fled on board a motorcycle.
The incident happened at around 7:50 p.m. on March 4, the police report stated.
At around 8:40 p.m. of the same day, the 39-year-old Claudio Dela Cruz was shot in Roxas City.
Dela Cruz sustained a gunshot wound on the stomach, another police report stated.
The victim was taken to the Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital./PN
