BACOLOD City – Police were still identifying the suspect in stabbing a man along the Mansilingan-Murcia Road in Barangay Mansilingan.

The 23-year-old Benjie Fegidero of Barangay Vista Alegre was walking along the road around 12:45 a.m. yesterday when the attacker – about 18 to 19 years old clad in a black jacket and camouflage shorts – charged at him, a Police Station 7 report showed.

Fegidero sustained a stab wound on the back. He was currently being treated at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital.

Officers from Police Station 7 have yet to determine the motive in the stabbing./PN
