Aegis has become a household name over the last 20 years. With almost all of their songs having become all-time Karaoke favorites, Aegis definitely deserves to celebrate their two decades in the music industry with a show at a venue as big as the Araneta Coliseum.
Anne Curtis, who was one of the guests at Aegis’ sold-out 20th-anniversary concert at the Big Dome, took the opportunity to thank the iconic OPM group for inspiring her to have the confidence to sing songs with high notes.
“It’s such an honor na makasama ko po kayo. Kailangan ko po talagang magpasalamat sa inyo dahil sa boses ninyo na-inspire ako na abutin ang mga matataas na kanta. Kayo talaga ang mga original na mga birit queens na may hugot. Congratulations po on your anniversary,” Anne told Aegis after their duet of “Basang-Basa Sa Ulan.”
Apart from Anne, Aegis also had Jericho Rosales, TNT Boys, Vice Ganda, and Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid as their special guests. (Push)
