“MAGANDANG Buhay” host Jolina Magdangal shared with her followers on Instagram how she loves writing letters for her loved ones. The Kapamilya actress revealed she will always prefer handwritten messages over texts and video calls.
Jolina recalled her relationship with her husband, Mark Escueta, started with these love letters as well.
“Kahit mas madali na mag-text at video call lagi pa rin ako sumusulat at nag-iiwan ng notes/love letters sa kanila at lagi ko din sila ine-encourage na masaya at masarap ito gawin,” she said.
The talk show host added there is something different with handwritten letters as it gives off a different level of love for her.
“Para sa’kin hanggang ngayon iba pa rin ang power of love ng pagsulat mo sa mahal mo sa buhay. Diyan din kami nagsimula ni Mark kahit sobrang techie na ng panahon,” she added.
The Kapamilya actress attached some photos of her family receiving the letters she wrote for each of them. She also wrote a special message for her children in the caption of her post and showed them the power of the letters she made.
“I know there will come a time that some things will be hard for you to tell Mama and Papa even if we keep on telling you that you can talk to us anything under the sun, always remember the power of writing us letters. Some of our little talks will not be remembered (especially when we are old na) but if we have love letters, we can always reminisce the moments we kept in the ‘memory box’ inside our hearts,” she said.
