BACOLOD City – Police arrested a 78-year-old widower wanted for alleged rape and child abuse in Purok Riverside, Barangay Banago.
Police Station 3 officers led by commander Senior Inspector Larry Teovisio served Erineo Tolentino, a resident of Purok Lilang, Barangay Banago, with arrest warrants around 12:15 p.m. on March 25.
Tolentino was detained in the Police Station 3 lockup cell.
Regional Trial Court Branch 41 (Bacolod City) Judge Ray Alan Drilon issued the warrants, all dated Oct. 18, 2016.
The court set a P120,000 bail bond for the rape charge and P200,000 for the charge for violation of the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act./PN
