BEAUTY queen and actress Winwyn Marquez couldn’t contain her “kilig” after receiving a compliment from Pia Wurtzbach saying she’s“Miss Universe Material”.
“Can’t lie. I had a mini heart attack when I read this,” said Winwyn in her Instagram Stories on Saturday.
“Pia is one of my inspirations. I really looked up to her lalo nung [Binibining Pilipinas/Miss Universe] 2015,” the 26-year-old stunner went on. “[To be honest], I was lowkey kilig (well super kilig) na nakasabay ko siya mag-perform sa isang stage nung sabay kami nag-BBP. Pwede ko na pa-print and pa-frame [itong] comment na ‘to. Thank you!”
It’s no secret that Winwyn, who received her first crown as Reina Hispanoamericana in 2017, has plans of pursuing either the Miss Universe or Miss Supranational title after her reign officially ended in the Latina-themed pageant in 2018.
Not only Pia – who won the prestigious Miss Universe crown in 2015 – but thousands of fans are rooting for Winwyn to join Binibining Pilipinas this year, in a bid to win Miss Universe Philippines.
However, Winwyn has yet to confirm if she would join this year’s Binibining Pilipinas as of this writing. (Push)
