BACOLOD City – A 69-year-old woman was found dead in Sitio Buklaw, Barangay Tuyom, Cauayan, Negros Occidental.
Police identified her as resident Fausta Mones.
According to police investigation, Mones’ lifeless body was discovered in a creek around 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 17. The victim was believed to have accidentally fell off while crossing the creek.
Mones’ body was brought to a local mortuary for a post “mortem examination.”
Police have yet to determine if there was a foul play in the incident./PN
