ILOILO City – A 40-year-old woman was accused of stealing items her friend was selling, a police report showed.
Ilhea Castor of Barangay Maribong, Calinog, Iloilo cannot be reached anymore, Estela Susana of Barangay Sambag, Jaro district told the police.
Susana, 62, claimed that Castor took two Mitsu Tech electric fans and two Hanabishi flat irons she ordered from the former at SM Hypermarket in Barangay Fatima, Jaro at around 5:30 p.m. on May 21.
Castor also asked P3,500 cash from her, Susana told the police.
Later Castor went to Susana’s house in Barangay Sambag, Jaro and took P3,600 worth of assorted plastic wares, 15 umbrellas and three portable electric fans, the complainant further claimed.
Susana told the police she tried contacting Castor but to no avail.
