ILOILO City – Police arrested a woman for failing to attend court hearings in relation to her charges under the anti-bouncing check law.
The 34-year-old Reina Ortiz was caught at Villa Hermosa Subdivision in La Paz district around 9:10 a.m. on April 10, a police report showed.
Ortiz, a resident of La Paz, was nabbed on the strength of a bench warrant.
She was detained in the district’s police station lockup facility.
The court recommended a P2,000 bail bond for her temporary liberty./PN
