ILOILO City – A 42-year-old woman was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Airport, Mandurriao district around 1:15 a.m. yesterday.
Suspect Rhodora “Borgok/May May” Lorenzo, a resident of Barangay Lapuz Sur, Lapuz district, was caught after handing over a plastic sachet of suspected shabu to a poseur buyer in exchange for P7,000.
Elements of the Iloilo City Police Station 5’s (ICPS 5) Station Drug Enforcement Team (SDET) led by deputy station commander Lieutenant Joebert Amado confiscated around 10 grams of suspected shabu valued at P68,000, cellular phone and weighing scale.
The suspect was detained at the ICPS 5, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
