
AKLAN – A 56-year-old woman died after reportedly coming into contact with a live wire in Barangay Lawa-an, New Washington town.
Responders from the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) confirmed that the victim, alias “Jel”, was already lifeless when they arrived at the scene on Monday, February 24.
Initial reports showed that the victim may have accidentally touched an exposed live wire attached to their fence.
New Washington police were still looking into the incident to determine the exact cause of the electrocution./PN
