ILOILO City – Police nabbed a woman in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Malusgod, Pototan, Iloilo.
Tagged suspect was 26-year-old Kaye Aira Adelante, a resident of Barangay San Julian, Janiuay, Iloilo.
A sachet of suspected shabu valued at around P200 and cash amounting P2,000 were recovered from Adelante, police said.
She initially sold the illegal substance to an undercover officer for P200 around 8:15 p.m. on Feb. 2, police added.
The suspect was detained in the lockup facility of the Pototan police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
