Woman falls in San Jose drug bust

SAN JOSE, Antique – Local authorities arrested a woman in a sting operation in Barangay Funda-Dalipe.

The 26-year-old Joebel “Tata” Dalumpines of Barangay Poblacion 2, Hamtic, Antique was caught after she sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P600 around 8:50 p.m. on Friday.

Aside from the buy-bust item, Dalumpines also yielded three more sachets of suspected shabu.

Another drug suspect was also arrested in San Jose on last week. He was the 26-year-old Deo Brent Adricula.

Andricula was caught on June 19 in Barangay Maybato North, police said.

Andricula allegedly sold a sachet of suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer for P500.

When police frisked him, they recovered seven more sachets containing the same substance.

Police also confiscated a cellphone, lighter and the marked money from Andricula.

Senior Police Officer 1 Marites Sabay of the San Jose police station said Dalumpines and Andricula were newly identified drug suspects.

The two were detained at the municipal police station’s lockup facility and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
