BACOLOD City – A woman fish vendor lost her foot while 11 others were injured in a four-vehicle accident  at Crossing Bangga 8, Barangay Tangub around 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

The woman who lost her right foot was Marilyn Baytal, 47, of Barangay Tangub. She was rushed to the Bacolod Adventist Medical Center in Barangay Taculing but her right foot was mistakenly brought to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital.

Baytal was selling fish along the highway with other fish vendors when a Ceres Liner with body number 560 and plate number FWW-866 bound for Kabankalan City – and driven by Jose Tomasar – hit a Mitsubishi Adventure which in turn hit a passenger jeepney going to Punta Taytay with nine passengers, and a multi-cab driven by Bernalin Arroyo, 46, with her passenger Phebelyn Monfort, 35, of Barangay Tangub.

The injured passengers from the jeepney were Bernadette Lampriadam, 58, of Barangay Taloc, Bago City; Andrew Quilano, 27, of Barangay Sum-ag; Ronel Montoduque, 29, of Cadiz City; Archel Tanaloen, 36, and son Paolo Angelo Taleon, 13, of Barangay Sum-ag; Radjie Gumban, 39, of Barangay Tabuanan, Bago City; Hazel Jane Coroña, 19, of Barangay Punta Taytay; John Michael Tinabaje, 17, of Barangay Sum-ag; and Lourdes Solinap, 22, of Barangay Mandalagan.

All the injured were brought to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital./PN
