BACOLOD City – Already in the state of decomposition, a woman was found in Barangay Mansablay, Isabela, Negros Occidental.
Police identified her as 70-year-old resident Flora Monserate.
Monserate’s body was found in a sugarcane plantation at the back of her house around 6 p.m. on Sept. 9, a police report showed.
Officers of the Isabela municipal police station have yet to identify the cause of her death.
The victim’s body was brought to a local mortuary for “post mortem” examination./PN
