ILOILO City – The motorcycle she was riding crashed against a passenger bus in Barangay Pagdugue, Dumangas, Iloilo.
The 18-year-old resident Jessica Villanueva – who sustained injuries on the body – was brought to the Western Visayas Medical Center.
The crash happened around 10:10 a.m. on Sunday. Villanueva was navigating the national highway when the bus hit her.
Bus driver Rogelio Gaitan of Barangay Capuling, Dueñas, Iloilo was arrested and detained in the Dumangas municipal police station.
He was charged with reckless imprudence resulting to physical injury, police said./PN
