ILOILO – A 48-year-old woman was hospitalized after she was hit by a speeding car along bypass road in Barangay San Sebastian, Santa Barbara town.
Major Ciriaco Esquillarga, chief of the Santa Barbara Municipal Police Station, said the victim identified as Anne Rose Amen sustained a wound on the forehead and a bruise on the lips.
The incident occurred while the victim was crossing the road and almost near the center island around 6:30 p.m. on July 15.
Esquillarga said as of this writing they have yet to identify the vehicle and its driver who did not stop after hitting the victim./PN
