ILOILO City – For alleged malversation of public funds, a woman was nabbed in Barangay Yulo Drive, Arevalo district.
The 34-year-old Sweet Garcia, a resident of Barangay Yulo Drive, was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant on June 17.
Judge Enrique Trespeces of the Regional Trial Court Branch 10 issued the warrant.
Garcia was brought to the Arevalo police station where she was detained.
The court recommended a P3,000 bail bond for her temporary liberty./PN
