ILOILO City – For allegedly mauling a man inside a mall in Barangay Bolilao, Mandurriao district, a woman was arrested.
Officers from the Mandurriao police station nabbed Annalyn Hierro on Wednesday.
Annalyn and relative Rene Hierro were tagged in mauling complainant Walter Escora, police said.
According to a police report, Annalyn, Rene and Walter had a heated argument inside the mall around 6 p.m. on Jan. 16.
The altercation eventually led to the Hierros mauling Escora, who sustained bruises on the body, the report added.
It was not immediately clear what triggered the altercation.
Rene managed to evade arrest. Annalyn, on the other hand, was detained in the lockup facility of the Mandurriao police station./PN
