ILOILO City – For taking assorted pairs of shorts without paying a department store, a woman was detained at Police Station 1.
The loot of 25-year-old Joan Yanson of Brgy. Bakhaw, Mandurriao district reached P6,222.25, according to Garry Daniel, security guard of Gaisano Capital on Guanco Street.
The shoplifting happened on Wednesday.
Yanson tried to leave the department store surreptitiously with her loot without passing by the cashier to pay, said Daniel./PN
