BACOLOD City – Charged with serious slander, a woman was arrested in Barangay Tapi, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
The 36-year-old resident Devina Sombria was nabbed on the strength of an arrest warrant on Jan. 30, a police report showed.
Judge Jose Manuel Lopez of the Municipal Trial Court in Kabankalan City issued the warrant, which was served by officers from the Kabankalan City police station.
Sombria was detained in the lockup cell of the police station.
The court recommended an P18,000 bail bond for her temporary liberty./PN
