ILOILO City – A woman was killed while two others were wounded in a road crash in Barangay Hamod, Batad, Iloilo.
The 39-year-old Jennifer Arcede of Barangay Canas, San Dionisio, Iloilo died of head and body injuries, a police report showed. Her husband Eduardo, 40, meanwhile, was brought to Comenares District Hospital in Batad for medical treatment.
According to police investigation, the incident happened around 5:50 a.m. on Feb. 29.
The Arcedes were onboard a motorcycle when they crashed against a car driven by Richie Jan Cajurao, 22, of Barangay Bagacay, San Dionisio.
It was not immediately established what circumstance led to crash.
Cajurao, who sustained body injuries, was also brought to the said hospital. He faces charges for reckless imprudence resulting to homicide and frustrated homicide./PN
