KALIBO, Aklan – A 58-year-old mother died while his son was injured when two motorcycles collided along the national highway in Barangay Caano here over the weekend.
Andrea Tibobos of Barangay Mabilo, Kalibo sustained fatal head injuries. She was rushed to the Aklan Provincial Hospital where the attending physician pronounced her dead.
Her son Fredan, 32, who was driving the motorcycle, sustained body injuries and was confined at the same hospital.
Kalibo police said Andrea and Fredan were on their way to Kalibo town when they were accidentally hit by another motorcycle driven by 65-year-old Federico Ricafort of Crossing Buswang, Kalibo./PN
