Woman, ma hurt in fight with relatives

ILOILO City – Body pains were what a woman and her mother sustained when they fought with relatives in Zone 6, Barangay Boulevard, Molo, a police report showed.

Daren Joy Rizalde, 25, and mother Nerry, 51, had the incident recorded at the district police station.

At first it was a catfight – Daren Joy Rizalde and neighbor Raquel Lauron, 41, had a misunderstanding that led to grappling at around 11:30 a.m. on April 5, stated the police report.

Lauron’s daughter Renerose Rizalde, 21, and Nerry Rizalde joined the fray before their neighbors pacified them.

Several minutes later Lauron’s common-law husband Rene Rizalde, 42, accosted Daren Joy Rizalde – his niece – and pushed her on the mouth with his fist and choked Nerry Rizalde, the complainants claimed.

Daren Joy Rizalde and mother Nerry complained of body pains.

The others involved in the fight cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.

Police referred the case to the barangay lupon./PN
