ILOILO City – Police arrested a 63-year-old woman in Barangay Divinagracia, La Paz district.
Amelyn Sabio of Barangay Banuyao, La Paz was caught around 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday, a police report showed.
Sabio’s apprehension was staged on the strength of an arrest warrant for 12 counts of bouncing checks, the report added.
The suspect was detained in the custodial facility of the La Paz police station.
The court recommended a P2,000 bail bond for Sabio’s temporary liberty./PN
