ILOILO City – Police arrested a 40-year-old woman in Barangay MH del Pilar, Molo district.
Ma. Florinda Gestonani of Iznart Street has been wanted for nine counts of a violation of Batas Pambansa 22 (bouncing checks law) charge, a police report showed.
Officers served Gestonani with warrants of arrest from three courts on Monday before taking her to Police Station 1.
Judge Alpha Sanglap Delgado of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities (MTCC) Branch 5 issued the warrant for two counts of the charge.
Another warrant was issued by Judge Eugene Cabardo of the MTCC Branch 7 while Judge Raul Facon issued the warrant for the remaining six counts./PN
