ILOILO City — A 22-year-old woman was arrested for stealing a motorcycle in Barangay Malipayon, City Proper.
Precious Innocent Manansala of the same village was allegedly spotted by city policemen driving a stolen motorcycle in Barangay Cubay, Jaro district.
The motorcycle’s owner, 41-year-old Ramuel Paisano of Lambunao, Iloilo, said he parked his vehicle at about 6 p.m. on Thursday in Barangay Malipayon and left.
When he came back an hour later, it was already missing.
Before she was arrested, Manansala was seen with a man near the motorcycle.
Manansala admitted that she stole the motorcycle but pointed to her male companion as the one who made her do it.
A carnapping charge will be filed against her and her cohort, who is still at large, said Chief Inspector Alexander Rosales, City Proper police chief./PN
