IT’S not everyday that we meet a “metabolic doctor,” but there’s one Filipino-Chinese physician who finished his MD degree from the College of Metabolic Medicine in Kansas, USA.
In fact, he is the first Filipino consultant of Fuda Cancer Hospital at Guangzhou, China.
He is also a member of the advisory board of the King Institute in Texas, USA, vice president of the Philippine College for the Advancement of Medicine (PCAM) and a member of the American College for the Advancement of Medicine (ACAM).
We could fill a page of similar attributes that this doctor is known for but they’re not as important as what he is capable of doing.
For example, he is capable of stopping a patient’s heart attack with his bare hands in four minutes or less. His name: Dr. Jaime E. Dy-Liacco.
While we don’t know exactly how a metabolic doctor differs from those specializing in other medical disciplines, it has surely something to do with keeping human metabolism in good order.
The dictionary defines metabolism as “the way that chemical processes in the body cause food to be used in an efficient way, as in making new cells and renewing energy.”
All that and more we will hear from Dr. Dy-Liacco when he talks on Panay News’ Reklamo Publiko on DyOK Aksyon Radyo-Iloilo come Sunday, 8:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.
An anecdote about Dr. Dy-Liacco is that when he came to Boracay to heal the sick natives, he set aside time for swimming. But swimming he found no time for because of the “avalanche” of patients queuing for consultation.
And so he thought of teaching others his techniques in natural healing through seminars all over the Philippines.
He uses low-cost natural remedies for virtually all ailments including cancer, heart disease, high blood, diabetes, asthma, allergy, psoriasis, arthritis, headache, migraine, gall bladder and kidney stones.
Dr. Dy-Liacco used to be a business executive. He had worked for multinational corporations like Procter & Gamble and Wrigley Company, among others./PN
