ILOILO City welcomes a triumphant return of premier events as Worldbex Services International (WSI) brings its signature expositions to the heart of Western Visayas. From July 11 to 14, the Iloilo Convention Center (ICON) transforms into a hub of creativity and discovery, hosting three dynamic showcases: the Philippine Building and Construction Expo Iloilo 2024 (PHILBEX Iloilo 2024), the Travel and Leisure Expo Iloilo 2024 (TLEX Iloilo 2024), and the Iloilo Foods and Beverages Expo 2024 (IFBEX 2024).

WSI’s commitment to excellence in event management shines through with this simultaneous presentation of PHILBEX Iloilo 2024, TLEX Iloilo 2024, and IFBEX 2024. Each expo is meticulously curated to spotlight the region’s strengths and potentials across various sectors.

At the forefront of architectural innovation and construction trends, PHILBEX Iloilo 2024 gathers local and international innovators. This expo provides a platform for networking and growth opportunities within the regional building and design community.

Showcasing the allure of Philippine tourism, TLEX Iloilo 2024 invites visitors to explore Iloilo’s scenic destinations, culinary delights, and vibrant cultural experiences. Attendees can discover exclusive travel packages and engage with local travel agencies to plan their next adventure.

Celebrating the richness of Iloilo’s culinary heritage, IFBEX 2024 is a feast for the senses. From traditional delicacies to international flavors, this expo highlights the diversity and creativity of local food culture. Visitors can participate in activities like the IFBEX Flair Open Competition, showcasing bartenders’ skill in mixing drinks with style.

This year’s events introduce exciting new elements alongside beloved favorites. PHILBEX Likha debuts as an exhibit celebrating locally-made handcrafted furniture and weaving, underscoring Iloilo’s artisanal craftsmanship.

“The inspiration for bringing the show to Western Visayas, specifically to Iloilo, stems from the region’s readiness in terms of infrastructure and the abundance of talent it can showcase. Traditionally, our events have been held in Manila, but now, by expanding to Iloilo, we can highlight even more of what this vibrant area has to offer. Our objective in hosting the show here is to spotlight the local talents, products, and diverse artistry — not just in architecture, but also in food and travel,” said Jill Aithnie Ang, managing director of Worldbex Services International.

The grand opening ceremony at the ICON on Thursday, July 11, was graced by esteemed guests including WSI’s founding chairman Joseph L. Ang, cofounding chair Levi Ang, Director Rene Ramos, and Managing Director Jill Aithnie Ang.
