ILOPRISAA stamped its class in the Western Visayas Private Schools Athletic Association (WVPRISAA) Meet 2019 athletics by claiming the overall title in tertiary women’s event on Monday in Bacolod City.
Ezel Divinagracia of Western Institute of Technology took home gold medals in 100-meter and 400-meter hurdles and 200-meter dash and silvers in 4×400- and 4×100-meter relay.
Abigail Faye Odelmo, meanwhile, had gold medals in 3,000- and 5,000-meter run and silver in 4×400-meter relay as Jhoanna Rose Sajoñia finished with gold in javelin throw, and silver in long jump and triple jump.
Lorena Damasco was part of the golden 4×400-meter relay team before taking home silver and bronze in 400-meter dash, 100-meter hurdles and 4×100 relay. Janfe Balle has gold in 4×400-meter relay and silver in 4×100-meter relay.
Celeste Marie bagged a gold in 3,000 walkathon as Caryl Mae Tocino bagged two silvers in discus throw and shot put. Jessa Fe Porras and Sarah Melliza also had silver medals in high jump and Angel Yulo settled for bronze in 800-meter dash.
ILOPRISAA was also dominant in the secondary and tertiary taekwondo division by bagging a total of 30 golds, 12 silver and six bronze medals in poomsae and kyorugi.
Among the gold winners in secondary poomsae (individual event) were Roivic John Decafe, John Patrick Palonpon, Cindy Joy Diasnes, Jioane Ferolin, June Gantalao and Alfie Diasnes, while Elaine Borres and Ashley Delos Reyes had silver medal each.
Tandems of Kean Ryth Bornazal and Sophia Marie Tungala as well as Zachary Aguirre and Kaycee Ann Rendaje bagged a gold each in the secondary mixed pair poomsae event.
The trios of Bornazal, Decafe and Palonpon; Tungala, Cindy Diasnes and Borres; Alfie Diasnes, Gantalao and Aguirre; and Delos Reyes, Rendaje, and Ferolin won a gold each in team poomsae.
In tertiary kyorugi, winning golds are Jieben Lark Recabar, Adriano Horlador III, Jed Roen Roncal, Pave Rynel Bero, Clarence Jotham Gancero, Jean Kristine Doce, Ma. Jessa Paz Ortega, Cara Nicole Vidallon, Cyril Aguirre, Sanra Lizardo, Lawrence Marasigan, Geraldine French Lisao, Geraldine Diana and Regina Abello.
Finishing with silvers were Rommer Sumande, Charmae Sarduma and Pearl Dyne Lisao, while bronze medal winners were Joshua Dumaguing, Vance Gabriel Priare and Scarlet Valencia.
Winning golds in secondary kyorugi were Ronald Kyle Pico, Joshua Glenn Grecia, Rynne Sotomil and Angela Bermejo, while silver winners were Hans Oliver Jardio, Rafael Lloyd Pico, Jed Morata, Elisha Venice Aguilar, Katrina Mamaril, Mervonne Shayne Nicor and Lance Izaak Fermiza and bronze winners were Kyte Descutido, Aldriene Earl Horlador and JN Robles./PN
