ROXAS City – Western Visayas’ No. 4 most wanted man was arrested in Sitio Bangkal, Barangay Maninang, Sapian, Capiz.
Alias “Totong” was caught around 10:20 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, by the joint operatives of Sapia police station led by officer-in-charge Captain Merry Chris M. Dela Cruz and Police Regional Office 6’s Regional Intelligence Unit led by Captain Dennis Razo.
Judge Rommel L. Leonor of the Regional Trial Court 6th Judicial Region – Branch 21 in Mambusao, Capiz issued the arrest warrant for statutory rape and rape by sexual assault against the suspect.
Sapian police said Totong was accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl.
The suspect was detained at the custodial facility of Sapian police station.
The court recommended a P120,000 bail for each case./PN
