ILOILO – Western Visayas’ No. 6 most wanted person facing rape charges was arrested in Sitio Talaytay, Barangay Taminla, Dueñas town.
The 50-year-old alias “Ar-ar,” a resident of Barangay Batuan, Balasan town, was collared around 1:50 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2.
Joint operatives of the Balasan Municipal Police Station (MPS) and Dueñas MPS were armed with two arrest warrants for rape by carnal knowledge and rape by sexual assault.
The court recommended no bail bond for the rape by carnal knowledge charge while P120,000 for rape by sexual assault.
The suspect is now under the custody of Balasan MPS and will be turned over to the court of origin for further legal proceedings./PN
