ILOILO City – Western Visayas’ No. 7 suspected drug personality and a companion were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Mansaya, Lapuz district here.
The 37-year-old Mark Asturias (tagged a high value target) and 36-year-old St. Paul Leonard Devilles (“street level” drug pushing suspect) were both residents of Barangay Bo. Obrero, Lapuz.
According to the police, the two initially sold suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P13,000.
A total of P204,000 worth of the prohibited substance were recovered from them around 10:30 p.m. on July 7, police added.
The two were detained in the lockup facility of the La Paz police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 would be filed against them./PN
