ILOILO City – A man has been arrested in this city for rape charges.
The 51-year-old alias “Roly” who works as a driver and a resident of Barangay Caboloan Norte, Oton, Iloilo, was Western Visayas’ No. 9 most wanted person.
He was collared by joint operatives of the Iloilo City Police Office’s Police Station 1 and Police Regional Office 6’s Regional Intelligence Unit 6 and Anti-Kidnapping Group – Visayas Field Unit around 1 p.m. on November 4, on General Luna Street, Barangay San Agustin City Proper, district through the strength of a warrant of arrest for two counts of rape.
The suspect is now under police custody and will be turned over to court concern. No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
