BACOLOD City – Two men were found dead in Purok Kasagingan, Barangay Bacong, Bago City, Negros Occidental on Christmas Day.
Police identified them as the 60-year-old Demetrio Villacorsa of Barangay Ma-ao, Bago City and 37-year-old Rodelo Nava, a resident of Bacong.
They sustained hack wounds on the different parts of the body, the police added.
According to investigation, a commotion between two groups occurred in the village at around 8 p.m. on the eve of Christmas Day.
Two persons were also wounded – the 22-year-old July Orbita of Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental and 19-year-old Jesus de la Cruz of Barangay Taloc, Bago City.
Orbita and de la Cruz sustained stab wounds on the stomach.
Bago City police chief Superintendent Ricardo Eleuterio Jr. said Nava started the commotion when he stabbed Orbita and de la Cruz due to unsettled money problem.
