BACOLOD City – Twenty eight modernized buses of the Yanson Group of Bus Companies (YGBC) were dispatched to Mindanao on Jan. 19.
The buses boast amenities that enhance comfort and safety for its passengers as well as bolster reliability and affordability.
The newest bus design features a 37-seater layout – in a two by two seating arrangement – luxury reclining passenger seats, LCD monitors, fast charging USB ports, folding tables, cup holders, leg rests, middle arm rests, foot pedals, luxury luggage racks with cover, reading lamps, aluminum passenger and luggage compartments, floor covers, sliding windows, a middle toilet and middle door – as well as GPS (Global Positioning System) and CCTV cameras.
The YGBC is pioneered by Vallacar Transit Inc. (VTI), the premier transport bus company in Visayas region.
The new buses were delivered to Mindanao through its sister companies Bachelor Express, Inc. and Rural Transit(Mindanao) Inc., said Jade Seballos, legal and media relations of VTI.
“We are making a major venture to modernize our fleet with new and elegant technology that will provide ultimate riding experience to our stakeholders,” said YGBC president and chief executive officer Leo Rey Yanson.
He added the fleet modernization would create better opportunities for ridership growth, as far as effective and efficient service in terms of safety and comfort.
“Through the years, we continue to introduce fleet modernization to our sister companies in Luzon and Mindanao to show our sincerity of providing a better service to the riding public. Your unceasing support and patronage of our service inspires us to do more,” Yanson added.
YGBC has been in the transportation business for almost five decade servicing the Filipino nation, Seballos said.
