MIKA Salamanca was arrested by authorities in Honolulu, Hawaii on Friday for violating the mandated 14-day quarantine for travelers.
According to a news station in Honolulu, Salamanca arrived in Honolulu on July 6 and four days later, the Hawaii Tourism Authority learned she was out in public.
The Hawaii attorney general’s office was shown videos of her dancing in a store and dining out when she was supposed to be in quarantine, prompting the order of arrest.
Mika’s arrest comes two days after she aired out her side in a vlog, saying that law enforcers told her she wasn’t in trouble.
“Inaamin ko po na nagkamali ako noong time na dumating ako dito sa Hawaii at agad po kaming lumabas,” she had said. “As far as I can remember na-settle na namin yun.”
Mika’s relatives had posted a $2,000 bail on her behalf.(GMA)
