ILOILO City – A 19-year-old man charged with rape was arrested in Barangay Malunang, Zarraga, Iloilo.
Mark Bryan Simpas of the same village was hauled to the municipal police station lockup cell.
Officers served him an arrest warrant around 7:40 p.m. on Wednesday, a police report showed.
Judge Adriano Sevillo of the Regional Trial Court Branch 30 issued the warrant.
Sevillo did not recommend a bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty, police said./PN
