Zonta Club of Iloilo City holds their first pandemic Medical, Dental, Optometrist and Legal Mission at Cameleon Foundation Inc. Passi City last July 24, 2022.
Cameleon Foundation, Inc led by their Executive Director Heide Foulc with Nurse Rechelle Palmares Somosera and the rest of the support staff welcomed Zonta Club of Iloilo City, Inc and its partners-benefactors on July 24, 2022. This Mission is one of the advocacy and visibility projects of Zonta International regarding its campaign against Violence on Women and Children.
The event started as early as 8 o’clock in the morning with the celebration of the Holy Mass. Zonta Club President Louie Cordova (Biennium 2022-2024) and Exec Director Heide Foulc gave their respective messages before the crowd was treated to a 30 minutes skillful and breathtaking exhibition and dance number by the Cameleon kids. The Medical, Dental, Optometrist and Legal Mission immediately followed which catered to the different needs of the children, some of the staffs and even parents (of Cameleon children) who were present that day. Zonta Club in celebration of Nutrition Month prepared properly packed lunch meals for the Cameleon children and everyone who took part in the event. The event was held to benefit and help the needs of 115 children of Cameleon.
