Capitol probing hospital job hires’ wage delay

ILOILO – At least 80 job hires of the Iloilo Provincial Hospital in Pototan town have not received their salaries for the month of October.

According to Atty. Suzette Mamon, acting provincial administrator, she received several complaints from workers of the capitol-run hospital.

Ipa-verify naton,” said Mamon, adding that an investigation was launched.

She also alerted Dr. Cynthia Cabangal-Ng, head of the Hospital Management Office, the department that manages the 12 district hospitals and one provincial hospital in the province.

According to Mamon, those who complained of delayed salaries may be the ones lack supporting documents or submitted their documents late.

Antes mag-release ang Accounting Office sang sweldo, dapat mag-submit sang daily time record ang kada job hire and work accomplishments nga pirmado sang ila supervisor,” Mamon explained./PN
