ROXAS City, Capiz – The Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital received funds from the Department of Health, Region 6 (DOH- 6) to complete its 5-storey building in Barangay Lanot.

The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Capiz passed a resolution asking for financial assistance from Senator Christopher “Bong” Go.

They presented to the senator Resolution No. 368- 2020.

The resolution was for “Endorsing the Construction of the Main Building of Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital at Lanot, Roxas City.”

“Nagapati ako nga sa karon nga panahon sang pandemya, kinahanglan sang mga Capizeño ang hospital nga modern kag may kompleto nga kagamitan,” said Vice Governor James “Mitang” Magbanua.

The project is also part of the duly approved Annual Investment Program of the Capiz local government.

Magbanua also headed the legislative board that passed Resolution No. 536- 2021, authorizing Governor Esteban Evan Contreras to become a representative of the provincial government.

The SP then approved the provincial government, under Contreras, to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the DOH-6./PN
