KAPAMILYA superstar Coco Martin, a devotee of the Black Nazarene, kicked off the filming of his upcoming teleserye “Batang Quiapo” on the day of the feast itself.

Having participated in the Translación even before he started his career in showbiz, Coco didn’t miss the chance of being there on its comeback on Jan. 9.

In his mission to give viewers a quality show, Coco also took the opportunity to film scenes for his highly-anticipated action-drama series that day.

Coco released a vlog where he shared with his fans a glimpse of his day in Quiapo.

Sobrang excited kasi matagal talaga namin ‘tong inintay at pinaghandaan,” Coco shared.

He said they were filled with positivity even before their day began, saying they were all relaxed throughout the filming process.

Masarap sa pakiramdam. Kami, honestly, napaka-positive sa’min lahat. Ang aga namin gumising, ang gaan ng pakiramdam namin. Napaka-relaxed,” he said.

Coco also said he feels blessed on their first shooting day as everything went smoothly, expressing his gratitude to all the people whom he said coordinated well with them.

Naghiwa-hiwalay kami pero smooth lahat. Wala mang prusisyon, may misa naman. Pero maayos lahat,” he said.

Nakakatuwa ‘yung mga tao kasi nakikipag-coordinate lahat. Kaya walang gulo, walang nasasaktan. Thankful and blessed kami sa first day namin sa ‘Batang Quiapo,’” he added. (PUSH)
